Meet the producers

Ernie C. Floyd

Executive Producer

Since 1990, I've dedicated myself to serving the youth of Central MA in various volunteer roles. My passion intensified in 1994, leading me to establish Pride Productions, Inc. (www.pridepro.org). This drive to support at-risk youth was rooted in my own experiences growing up in Roxbury, MA, where I witnessed crime firsthand. However, positive influences, including local mentors, kept me on the right path. They introduced me to the performing arts and sports, with basketball becoming a significant part of my life. This passion for basketball resulted in over 250 athletic scholarship offers, and I ultimately chose the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA in 1979. I've continued my mission to uplift youth by initiating community projects. For a comprehensive look at my achievements and dedication to the youth, please visit pridepro.org and www.wuty979fm.org.

Aaron J. Keyes

Producer

After graduating from the Connecticut Schools of Broadcasting in 2001, I delved into the world of production, crafting various video projects that spotlighted engaging narratives. My expertise in marketing developed over 20 years, covering industries from broadcasting to healthcare. My collaboration with Ernie began in 1999 during an unexpected meeting at the Ionic Ave. Boys and Girls Club in Worcester amidst the backdrop of hurricane Floyd. That fortuitous encounter set the stage for many joint ventures that continue to this day. As the Director of Marketing for Health Systems at Quest Diagnostics, I apply my accumulated knowledge to influence impactful marketing strategies. Entrepreneurship has been a significant part of my family's history. From Amos Keyes' 1850s fruit and vegetable venture in Boston to businesses led by my parents and grandparents, I've always been inspired by their drive and determination. This connection to business roots informs my approach to marketing, and I strive to support and elevate the unique stories that each venture holds.

Youth Unity is produced by Pride Productions, Inc., a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that began in 1994 with a mission to serve youth in and around the city of Worcester. Pride Productions also operates Unity Radio serving the city of Worcester on 97.9FM and at wuty979fm.org.
